PHOX - Slow Motion

Neo Soul Music from Wisconsin! The capitol of NEO SOUL! Okay... well not really, but six-piece band of up and comers PHOX sure makes you think that it is. Their self-titled debut album is due out on June 24th from Partisan records and they will be bringing their sweeping and delicately orchestrated folky jazz sound - fronted by their star-in-the-making smokey voiced singer Monica Martin - to play at the Chapel in SF on July 3rd.
