Matt Berninger's Sweet 16

I read once.. last year... somewhere... that Matt Berninger of the National posesses the unique ability to make social anxiety sexy. And when I read it, I chuckled to myself because that's so incredibly spot on in terms of why I find his music and artistry so darn appealing. As such, it should come as no surprise that I immediately heartened to and devoured this wonderful feature on Loud & Quiet about what Matt was like at age 16 - just as awkward and relatable in that charming awkwardness as I find him to be today.
