Aretha Franklin - God Bless The Child

Aretha Franklin was a presence. In and of her self and in our lives. I was on my way to work the other morning, the morning of the day she had passed, and the driver was listening to a local jazz station appropriately playing her music non stop. One song came on in particular that for some reason made me well up with tears. It's this one below. I can't say exactly why this song struck such a chord with me, but nonetheless, I wanted to share it.
